Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most picked treks in Nepal which gives a chance to see the world’s 10th highest peak, the Annapurna. Also, in the beginning, you will go through rice farms, forests and charming villages at the lower lands of the Annapurna Conservation Area.

Annapurna Round trek begins from Lamjung district driving from Kathmandu to Besisahar. All along the way, we get an opportunity to walk beside the longest Marsyangdi Khola of Nepal and the surroundings of both the south and north peaks. Apart from beautiful scenery, we will be a stroll through the rhododendron forests, feel the air of the Tibetan Plateau and the like. The highest peak of the trek is Manang Village which let us witness the unbeatable panoramic scenery of Manaslu (8163), Annapurna south (7219m), Annapurna I Expedition (8091m)Annapurna II (7937m) , Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Nilgiri (7041m),  Machhapuchhre (6998m) , Hiunchuli 6441m, Tukuche peak (6920m), Mt. Lamjung Himal 6986m) and more. We will also pass via Thorung Pass which lies at an altitude of 5416m and walk down to Muktinath Temple devoted to Lord Vishnu.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival and Check-in to the Hotel
The representatives from High Five Adventures (Pvt. Ltd.) will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival. We then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Today, you will visit the main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest and holiest Hindu temple; Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch, you visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan Durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besishahar Syange (1100m) – 9/8 Hours
After talking the morning breakfast in the morning, we take a drive to Besishahar to Syange from Kathmandu. It's a distance kilometre and takes about 8/9 hours to reach there. Besishahar and syange offer you the beautiful views of snowcapped mountains around. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 04: Trek from Syange to Dharpani (2160m) – 6 Hours
Today, our day begins with a rocky trail following the Marsyangdi River steadily uphill to Tal. Tal is the first village in the Manang District. Crossing the wide and flat valley, our trail continues up and down to Dharapani (1890m). you can witness the typical flat roofed stone houses of local Tibetans. The village is surrounded by apple Orchads and maize fields. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 05: Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m) – 5 Hours
Our trail climbs to Tyanja today continuing through the forest. As we reach Chame, theheadquarter of Manang District, you will be rewarded by the fine views of Annapurna II. We also witness two small hot springs by the town. Besides, we are also introduced with the local community of which the residents are said to have migrated from Tibet centuries ago. We stay overnight at a guesthouse at Chame.

Day 06: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3300m) – 5 Hours
Our day starts through a deep forest in a steep and narrow valley crossing a river on a long bridge. After crossing another bridge, we can witness some of the beautiful rock faces of soaring Paungda Danda. And from there, we join the trail to climb to Pisang. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 07: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3540m) – 5 Hours
We continue through the upper part of the Manang District today. People of this region herd yaks and raise crops for a part of the year. From Pisang, there are two alternative trails from north and south of Marsyangdi River which meets up again at Mungji. From Mungji, our trail continues past the picturesque but partially hidden valley of Bryanga just nearby Manang. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 08: Acclimatization at Manang
We spend a day acclimatizing at Manang. We spend the whole day doing some fine day walks and enjoying the magnificent sights around the village. We can explore the absolutely gorgeous Manang Valley and the lifestyle of the people there. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 09: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4000m) – 5 Hours
Following the trail, we continue our journey from Manang today. Our trail ascends nearly 500m to Yak Kharka. Climbing steadily through Tenki Manang, we leave the Marsyangdi Valley and continue along the Jarsang Khola valley. We eventually reach Yak Kharka at 4000m where you can see the herds of yaks and vegetation thinning out. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 10: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4450m) – Hours
From Yak Kharka, we continue our ascent for about two hours and then descend down to cross the river. We then climb up to Thorong Phedi where you can see some decent guesthouses. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 11: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorong La Pass (5416m) – 8 Hours
Our journey today is going to be quite longer today. So we start early in the morning before sunrise to reach the Pass by 9am. We have to consider about the weather conditions that might greatly affect our journey particularly at the Thorung La pass which is at the altitude of 5416m. We have to climb steeply on a regular route which is quite easy to follow. We need to take maximum care as it often causes terrible problems to cross the pass if it is covered by heavy snow. It takes around four hours to climb up to the pass. After walking for around four more hours from Thorong La Pass, we reach the holy temple of Muktinath, which is considered one of the holiest pilgrimagesin Nepal. Muktinath Area is home to several monasteries along with the temple of Muktinath. Interestingly, Muktinath is a sacred pilgrimage site for both Buddhists and Hindus. You can witness 108 water sprouts around it and a gorgeous natural spring and an eternal flame fueled by natural gas. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 12: Trek from Muktinath to Marpha (2670m) – 6 Hours
Today we leave Muktinath and descend through the Kaligandaki Valley to Marpha. Marpha is considered a home to the legendary apple orchids is known as the Apple capital of Nepal. Apple Brandy is another local specialty that you may be lucky enough to taste on the way. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 13: Drive from Marpha to Tatopani (1190m) – 4 Hours
Today, we Drive through the deepest gorge of the world, Kopchepani. And we then continue descending thorugh the Kali Gandaki River Valley to Tatopani. At Tatopani, you can enjoy bathing in natural hot springs. This is the best place to relax your body after the trek of a long day. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 14: Rest at Tatopani
Today, we take this additional day to take rest at Tatopani.

Day 15: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2810m) – 7 Hours
Today is going to be a big day as it takes around 8 hours to reach Ghorepani from Tatopani. So, we climb about 1650 meters up and pass a couple of Magar and Gurung villages on the way. We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Ghorepani.

Day 16: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1570m) – 5 Hours
Early in the morning today, we start an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) which is a best viewpoint in the Annapurna Region. Poon Hill offers the best opportunity to witness the phenomenal panorama of the beautiful peaks including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Poon Hill is regarded as the Photographer's paradise. You can enjoy the unobstructed views of the sunrise over stunning snowcapped Himalayas. Poon Hill also offers the best views of the sunset too. After spending about an hour at Poon Hill, we return back to Ghorepani. We then start our journey to Tikhedhung walking down along the ridges and through rhododendron forests of a large Magar village of Ulleri. We finally reach Tikhedhunga after a descent where we stay overnight.

Day 16: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul (1010m) – 3 Hours and Drive to Pokhara – 1 Hour
It takes only a few hours (about 2 to three hours) to reach Nayapul fromTikhedhunga. From Nayapul, we take 1-hourdrive to Pokhara where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 18: Pokhara Sightseeing Tour
We spend this whole day sightseeing the beautiful city of Pokhara, which is the best tourist destination in Nepal. Early in the morning, our first aim is to reach Sarangkot, which is popular among tourists as it offers the beautiful sunrise and sunset views. You can witness the phenomenal sunrise in the beautiful Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After spending an hour at Sarankot, we drive back to Pokhara to explore the number of mysterious caves and temples. We take our time to enjoy boating in Fewa Lake and explore the Seti Gorge and Davis Falls. In the remaining time, you can explore around the city. Overnight, we stay at a guesthouse.

Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
We drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara today. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can utilize your time for the last minute shopping or you can explore around the city. We celebrate the Farewell Dinner together with the trekking team and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 20: Final International Departure
We are saying goodbye to the Kathmandu as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We will transfer you to the airport for your returning flight.
