Chitwan jungle safari

Chitwan jungle safari situated in a south-central region in Nepal which occupies 932 sq. km. of the total land and lies in the subtropical plains of the inner Terai. The area covers the area from the Tikauli forest, Rapti River to the base of the Mahabharat range. The area was declared as Nepal’s first National Park in 1973. Also, in 1996, 750 sq. km. of the land from the park was stated a buffer zone which includes forests and private lands.
Similarly, the park holds a diversity of natural splendour taking in the Churia hills that ascend slowly to the east from 150m to above 800m; flood plains of the Reu, Rapti and Narayani rivers and ox-bow lakes. The boundary of the park in the western part separates from the Parsa Wildlife Reserve.
High Five Adventures will experience the most significant part of the Chitwan jungle safari, elephant safari which provides a chance to get a closer sight of different animals including the rare one-horned rhinoceros. You may also get a glance of the Bengal tiger, leopards, deer, wild boar, crocodiles, gharries etc. And spot storks, kingfishers, geese, ducks, and more. Also, the Elephant Breeding Centre gives you details on the elephant and the newborn elephants.
Besides, 20% of the park area is occupied by grasslands. There are above 50 different kinds of grasses. And it is the home for more than 50 mammals, 55 amphibians and reptiles and over 525 types of birds. Also, the park protects different endangered wild lives.
