23 days

Larke Peak Climbing (Larkya Peak Climbing) is recently discovered climbing peak in Manaslu Region. This is less challenging than Mountain Expedition, thus ideal destination for novice climbers. During the trekking and peak climbing, you will be rewarded with the overwhelming natural beauties including the giant mountains towering just in front of your eyes. This trip can be taken as preparation for Mountain Expedition or to add more adventure in your trekking trip.

The Manaslu Region is still restricted area in Nepal thus you need a licensed guide and special trekking permit in order to complete this trekking and peak climbing. Only few numbers of trekkers have witnessed the beauty of this region, so you can explore the undisturbed nature and unspoiled environment. The land of Paradise for nature lovers, Manaslu Region is habitat for Brahmin, Gurung and Tibetan like peoples thus has diverse religions, culture and traditions. The lush forests, steep climb, diverse landscapes, suspension bridges and small local villages make your trip even more fascinating, exciting and memorable.

On reaching the top of Larkya Peak, you will be rewarded with outstanding views of Himalayan Massifs and get tremendous feeling of happiness that can’t be described in words. This exotic and interesting Larke Peak is opened for travelers in 1991 and is still a restricted area. In this virgin land, you will get to observe all the wonders undisturbed and untouched.

We, High 5 Adventures, are conducting this trip since our establishment and many of our happy costumers recommend this trekking for the best adventure in Nepal Himalayas. We will make sure to offer you lifetime unforgettable memories and we are sure, you will truly enjoy our company.

Larkya Peak Climbing Route

Larke Peak Climbing begins with a long but scenic drive form Kathmandu to Arughat which takes approximately 8 hours by bus or 4WD Jeep. From Aarughat, we follow the Manaslu Circuit Trekking trail along the Budhi Gandaki River. Then, we traverse mixed Hindu and Buddhist settlements, observing the people of different ethnic groups, terraced rice fields and lush tranquil forests. Each days of Larkya Peak Climbing offers us rewarding views of natural wonders including the mesmerizing Himalayan range. As we trek in the higher altitude, the villages seem to be dominated by Tibetan Buddhist culture where we can explore Buddhist monasteries, Chortens, maniwalls in every village.

After Larkya Peak Expedition, we will retrace our footprints and follow the same route to reach back to Aarughat and finally drive to Kathmandu in order to end our Larke Peak Climbing Trek.

Larke Peak Climbing Difficulty

This is moderate Trek and Peak Climbing and even a novice trekker can complete the trek successfully. It will be easier and you can experience huge natural vistas during the season’s autumn and spring whereas, it gets challenging during winter and monsoon season in Nepal. The continuous rainfall and snowfall may disturb your walk during these seasons. Moreover, while trekking in higher Himalayas, there is always risk of mountain sickness. So, stay careful regarding your meals and walking hours.
